In 2023, IES reached a major milestone with the acquisition of Clean Soils Environmental, Ltd. (CSE), a respected environmental consulting firm founded in 1989 by Denise M. Prosser and William H. Mitchell, Jr., LSP. The merger united two firms with deep roots in site assessment, remediation, MCP compliance, and LSP leadership, significantly expanding IES’s technical depth, field capabilities, and regional presence.
